Parghelia is a charming and quiet village which comes to life in the summer months. With cafes, restaurants, shops and one of the best beaches in the area, you could spend your entire holiday here. 

Situated off the main tourist trail, the local shops and restaurants offer great value. You can pick up breakfast or a litre of local wine for less than 3 euros and a pizza with wine can cost as little as 10 euros per person. There are several shops selling freshly baked bread and local produce and a couple of popular cafes offering amazing coffee, breakfast and gelato. 

The towns' beach, Michelino, is one of the most stunning beaches in the area with powder white sand and crystal clear water. It's perfect for sunbathing, safe for swimming & snorkelling and well worth the effort to climb down and back up the steps!

Tropea, voted as Italy's most beautiful town in a national poll, is a historic and vibrant destination drawing visitors from across the world. Although growing in popularity it has still managed to keep a genuine and authentic charm. With clean turquoise waters, white sandy award winning beaches and a charming clifftop setting Tropea is one of the most stunning destinations in Calabria. The ancient town centre is a bustling labyrinth of cobbled streets and alleyways with restaurants, cafes, artisan shops & boutiques found around every corner.
